Therapeutic Stretching and Activation
What is Therapeutic Stretching & Activation?
I integrate therapeutic stretching and activation to treat a range of physical disorders from knee and hip replacements, whiplash, headaches, rotator cuff injuries, sports injuries, ankle sprains, calf muscle strains, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis and the list goes on.
This dual therapy improves muscle tone, strength and stability, improving circulation, flexibility, recovery from injury, surgery and preventing further injury and surgery. Muscles not only lose their strength but also shut down due to the body’s response to pain.
Activating muscles that have lost their strength and functioning enhances the biomechanical firing sequence keeping the skeletal body in balance when lifting or bearing weight in everyday tasks, work and play.
This technique re- establishes “muscular balance” restoring joint range of motion and teaches your body how it was designed to be moved and used correctly and safely under load!
